Embark on a four-month paid internship as a Health and Safety Project Intern at Giant Tiger, working hybrid in Ottawa. Support critical health and safety initiatives across 120+ locations in Ontario.

As part of Giant Tiger’s store support team, you’ll help in executing the Health & Safety Store Excellence Program. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your program coordination abilities, stakeholder engagement, and records management skills. Equipped with valuable insights into legislative requirements, you’ll contribute significantly to operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in implementing health and safety programs
• Collaborate on special projects in a team setting




• Process program applications for participating stores
• Compile and build program documentation
• Maintain accurate records in our internal database

Requirements:
• Enrollment in Health and Safety or Human Resource studies
• Solid computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office
• Excellent detail orientation and organization
• Good communication abilities
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
