In this role, you will support complex projects by embedding resiliency planning into all aspects. Your key focus will include water conservation, waste management, and environmental stewardship, aligned with corporate sustainability objectives. Your knowledge of ESG frameworks and decarbonization strategies will be essential in addressing climate impacts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Embed resiliency needs in environmental management programs
• Account for carbon reduction efforts in all planning stages
• Collaborate with various departments for cohesive sustainability strategies
• Mentor GTAA staff on best practices in sustainability
• Spearhead initiatives addressing species at risk and plant management
Requirements:
• Advanced degree in engineering, planning, or sustainability
• Minimum 5 years in sustainable design within the infrastructure sector
• Robust understanding of climate and resilience frameworks
• Experience with sustainable resource management practices
• Knowledge of climate risk protocols and application methods
