The Edmonton Police Service is seeking two Temporary Full-time Social Planners to guide team Navigator operations for social disorder responses. Ideal candidates will possess robust mentoring skills, crisis intervention experience, and legal policies understanding. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring procedural compliance and promoting effective collaboration among team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily Navigator operations and workload priorities
• Ensure compliance with HELP program documentation
• Translate EPS policies into operational workflows
• Monitor staffing levels and address shortages
• Support case consultations for client placements
Requirements:
• Degree in Social Work or related field
• Minimum three years of relevant experience
• Formal crisis intervention training is an asset
• Registered with Alberta College of Social Workers preferred
• Up to date First Aid training or willingness to obtain
