The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Clinical Manager and the patient care leadership team to drive quality improvements and safety measures. This leadership position requires a collaborative approach to develop departmental goals and advocate for patients and families. Robust communication and adaptive skills are crucial for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with quality teams to utilize CHEOworks tools
• Organize staff training and morale initiatives
• Oversee safety report investigations and systems improvements
• Facilitate inventory reviews and product evaluations
• Represent the PSU on relevant committees
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field
• 2 years of formal or informal leadership experience
• Experience in advancing health equity and cultural humility
• Calm disposition with a support-driven mindset
• Vulnerable Sector Check required
