Job location: Calgary, AB – Head Office
Shift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday – Friday) for full-time schedule
Term length: 12 months
Term start: January 2027
Term type: Part-time & Full time
January – April: Part-time
May – August: Full-time
September – December: Part-time (Part-time being a maximum of 20 hours per week.)

Key Accountabilities
Incident & Application Support
Diagnosing and resolving issues
Requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Customer & IS Team Engagement
Emphasizes soft skills: communication, collaboration, and relationship-building
Likely involves both in-person and remote interactions
Project Support
Exposure to IS projects implies opportunities for growth and learning
Could involve testing, documentation, or deployment tasks
Meeting Room & Specialized Room Support
Hands-on AV and conferencing tech support
Geoscience room support suggests industry-specific tools (e.g., energy, mining)
Knowledge Base Contribution
Strong writing/documentation skills are valued
Encourages knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Mobile Device Support
Android and iPhone troubleshooting
Likely includes MDM (Mobile Device Management) tools
Printer Fleet Management
Technical and logistical responsibilities
Includes driver/firmware updates and asset tracking
What You Bring To The Role
Currently enrolled your 2 nd , 3 rd , or 4 th year of an Information Systems diploma/degree
IT Tools & Technologies experience with the following areas:
Hands-on experience with, and an understanding of, the Windows 11 operating systems including: file systems, permissions, services and registry structures
Remote Access: Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop
Hardware: Printers, scanners, laptops
Office 365: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Web and remotely delivered applications
Ticketing Systems: Remedy or similar
Additional IT Tools & Technologies considered an asset:
Application architectures such as standalone and client-server
Networks and database systems including Oracle and Microsoft SQL
Power BI, Visio, Oracle, SQL Developer or TOAD
Digital certificates for printers
Windows Server
