**What you'll be doing**
You'll join a team of individuals in the CSO Shared Services Team, contributing towards a shared goal – maturing CIBC's Information Security posture in order to protect our bank, our clients, and our employees.
As a Business Operations Analyst you'll manage assigned services, execute compliance & reporting activities, and support event management.
Collaboration with your peers and business partners will be key; you'll continuously look for opportunities for improvement, maintain report integrity and potentially drive actions that will make a difference today and tomorrow.
The Business Operations Analyst assists members of the Chief Security Office (CSO), executive leaders and their teams by assuming responsibility for support activities and strong governance and client focused services.
The role applies detailed knowledge of efficiency, governance and administrative tasks to perform a range of specialized functions including reviewing and coordinating documentation, onboarding/offboarding resources, maintaining distribution lists, managing shared mailboxes, planning, tracking, and conducting spot-checks and independent testing as required.
The Business Operations Analyst stays abreast of all relevant CIBC products and services and keeps current on procedural and technological changes and upgrades within their area of responsibility.
The role proactively identifies and recommends possible process improvements that would increase productivity and efficiency, collaborating with senior employees to develop methods and techniques to enhance performance of administrative tasks.

**How you'll succeed**
**Event Management –**
Lead the timely scheduling,
communication and logistics support for large events across CSO.
Provide timely updates to be communicated to the CSO Senior Leadership Team.
Assist with development of the calendar for various events across the year.
These include, but not limited to, venue booking, managing catering, onsite support, etc.
**Compliance & Reporting –**
Assist Shared Services team with Governance and Compliance implementations, reporting and engagement.
Seek ways to automate procedures such as monthly attestations.
**Administrative Support –**
Support the management and action requests of operational requests to Shared Services.
Develop and maintain administrative policies and procedures related to your role.
**Who you are**

working directly with senior leaders and performing their schedule and calendar management.
**Your depth of knowledge includes**
performing critical administrative tasks, multitasking in complex environments, situational awareness, managing multiple competing priorities, and dealing with ad-hoc requests.
You bring expertise in MS Office applications – Word, Power
Point, Excel, and Outlook.
