Albarrie Canada Limited seeks an Onsite General Accountant with manufacturing experience in Barrie, Ontario. Contribute to financial reporting and analysis while ensuring accuracy in accounting.

As a General Accountant, you will report directly to the Director of Finance and handle a variety of accounting tasks. Key responsibilities include preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with multiple business leaders. This role requires a strong background in plant accounting and the ability to manage financial audits and ensure compliance with financial standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and reconcile GL's, bank accounts, and inter-company transactions
• Calculate and file WSIB and tax returns




• Manage the GL account process and maintain ERP templates
• Review payroll records and prepare journal entries
• Direct financial audits and prepare detailed financial reports

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years of plant accounting experience
• Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and ERP systems
• Solid organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
