Join the First Nations Health Authority as a Community Health Nurse, directly impacting the health of St’at’imc and Nlaka'pamux communities. This in office position involves core nursing duties in a culturally meaningful setting.

In this temporary role, the Community Health Nurse will provide essential health services and care in First Nations settings. You will promote health, prevent illness, and protect population health, with local travel for community engagement. Your efforts will significantly influence health outcomes for these populations, working both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing and health services
• Promote health initiatives within the community




• Work with teams to ensure culturally competent care
• Perform health assessments and interventions
• Travel to support health programs in nearby communities

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution
• Registered with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• At least one year of relevant nursing experience
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License required
• Basic Life Support Certification Level C
