Senior Claims Examiner - Property & Casualty Claims
Hybrid 2-3 days from Toronto office

$135,000 - $165,000 + 15% annual bonus

A leading insurance organization hiring a Senior Claims Examiner for their P&C; commercial team. This is a senior-level technical role handling complex commercial property and liability claims. You will manage mid to high-exposure claims from first notice through resolution, with a strong focus on coverage analysis, litigation strategy, and stakeholder management. Adjuster License in Canada essential to be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Handle mid to complex commercial property and commercial casualty / CGL claims through to conclusion

Lead coverage investigations and draft detailed coverage position letters independently

Manage litigated files, coordinating defense counsel and driving strategy through to resolution

Evaluate liability, damages, and settlement exposure on higher-severity claims





Maintain robust relationships with brokers, insureds, attorneys, and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

4+ years commercial property and commercial casualty claims - essential to be considered

Experience with other commercial claims highly beneficial

Strong exposure to coverage interpretation and other coverage mattersExperienced within litigation through all stages of the claims process

Background with a reputable carrier or law firm

Bachelor's degree required; Adjuster License in Canada essential
