Foundation Health is seeking a Psychiatrist skilled in comprehensive mental health care to better serve Ontario's patients. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, enhancing care continuity and patient outcomes.

This role requires a licensed Psychiatrist to provide thorough assessments and manage a spectrum of mental health disorders. You will develop tailored treatment strategies and collaborate with family physicians and other specialists. Your contributions will directly impact clinical quality improvement initiatives and patient safety efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed psychiatric assessments and acknowledge risks
• Diagnose and manage varied mental health conditions




• Create and implement treatment plans and manage medications
• Offer consultations and share patient care with referring providers
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation in line with standards

Requirements:
• MD from an accredited medical school
• FRCPC in Psychiatry and independent CPSO license
• Excellent communication and cooperative skills
• Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred
• Active CMPA membership required
