Calgary-based office. Candidates can be located in Calgary or Edmonton. Hybrid work model. 37.5 hour work week.
Must Haves 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Systems Analyst supporting billing operations and performing data analysis in production billing environments
5+ years of experience with SQL queries , database structures , and manipulation of large data volumes using MS Excel
Experience with Python , C# , and Power Shell application development and support
Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies within hybrid delivery environments
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Robust Nice to Have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Utility billing experience within the Alberta energy market
Utility Billing system knowledge
Testing and quality assurance support
Communication and collaboration with vendors and internal teams
Responsibilities Develop and support applications using Python, C#, and Power Shell
Assist with automation, data analysis, and system improvements in a production billing environment
Support the daily production of customer invoices from the RUBIX Billing System
Perform quality control on RUBIX inputs and outputs
Assist with ad-hoc database querying activities
Support QA and functional testing activities with internal and vendor development teams
Review client, customer, and user feedback on development and testing activities
