You will

Prepare,maintain, update, and manage tax working papers for multiple entities, including preparation of continuity and reconciliation schedules

Research and resolve discrepancies between tax balances and accounting balances

Prepare corporate and partnership tax returns, elections,formsand regulatory filings

Prepare responses to inquiries and requests of tax authorities

Be responsible forpreparation of tax provision working paper and tax estimate calculations

Assistinperforming and documentingtax planning,researchand analysis

Assistin corresponding with investors for tax related questions

Assistin designing and implementing tax working papersand improving tax processes

Assistwith ad hoc tax or accounting projects

Experience working with large corporate groups, as an external advisor or inhouse staff

You also have

A skilled accounting designation

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a tax-related role

Familiarity with Tax Prep(preferred), or similar tax software

Advanced Excel and Word skills

Strong written and verbal English skills

Real estate tax experience (an asset)

Public practice tax experience (an asset)

Pay range:
$125,000 - $150,000, per annum, depending on experience.

This is a 12-month contract with the opportunity to extend up to 16 months.
