Elevate urban and rural planning in Caledon! As a Community Planner, you will manage development applications and coordinate closely with stakeholders.

This role requires collaboration with the Manager, Development & Design, and involves oversight of a variety of development applications, including Official Plan Amendments and Zoning By-law Amendments. You will provide professional recommendations and act as a valuable resource for staff and the public, enhancing the community's development processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage various development applications and projects
• Liaise between applicants and involved stakeholders
• Coordinate meetings with stakeholders for project updates
• Conduct site inspections with relevant agencies




• Prepare reports and attend meetings to present planning opinions

Requirements:
• Minimum three years' experience in land use planning
• Post-secondary degree in Planning or related field
• Knowledge of the Planning Act and related policies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Adaptable schedule for in-office, remote, and after hours as needed
