We are seeking two family physicians to join our addition-focused clinic located within one of Canada’s leading addiction treatment facilities. This role offers a unique blend of primary care and detox management for inpatients. You’ll benefit from training provided by UBC clinical instructors, promoting board certification in addiction medicine while working in a collegial atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide primary care to patients and residents
• Manage admissions and detox processes for inpatients
• Collaborate with onsite psychiatry services




• Offer virtual care to alumni of the center
• Participate in flexible hours and on-call as needed

Requirements:
• Family medicine background with a focus on addictions
• No prior addiction medicine experience necessary
• ER or inpatient detox experience is beneficial
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a new workplace
• Hospital privileges in the Cowichan District are an asset
