Integrate community health as a Family Practitioner in partnership with W'SANEC Health Directors. Help foster Indigenous wellness through a holistic care approach in beautiful Saanichton, BC.

This position requires collaboration with Nurse Practitioners, Mental Health Counsellors, and other healthcare professionals within the W'SANEC communities. You'll engage directly with Indigenous patients while emphasizing culturally safe practices, trauma-informed care, and collaborative health service delivery. Support from the Saanich Peninsula Primary Care Network provides additional resources to enhance care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Develop and implement care plans for Indigenous communities




• Foster relationships with patients and community stakeholders
• Monitor and assess clinical status of clients post-treatment
• Participate in after-hours care when necessary

Requirements:
• Experience with First Nations health care and cultural safety
• Knowledge of Indigenous health perspectives
• Solid relational approach to patient care
• Commitment to anti-racist practices
• Willingness to learn from community members
