Become a part time TEFL Methodology Instructor at the Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute (OLBI). This role focuses on preparing undergraduate students for online English teaching, blending innovative teaching methods with practical experience.
In the Fall 2026 academic semester, OLBI is seeking a dedicated instructor to lead the TEFL Methodology stream of the Student Teaching in English Program (STEP). Key responsibilities include creating student-centered sessions, integrating digital tools, and supporting micro-teaching while ensuring curriculum coherence. Applicants should possess a Master's degree in second language teaching and extensive ESL teaching experience.
Key Responsibilities: • Design and lead engaging TEFL methodology sessions • Create, evaluate,
and support student assignments • Facilitate peer debriefing and micro-teaching exercises • Collaborate with teaching staff for curriculum coherence • Implement practical lesson-planning portfolio development
Requirements: • Master’s degree in TESL or related field • Two years teaching ESL at the college/university level • Experience in team-teaching dynamic environments • TESL Certification or equivalent • Familiarity with digital learning tools
