This role serves as a subject matter expert and key operational resource, ensuring compliance with applicable import and export regulations while maintaining strong internal controls and consistency across regions.This position does not have direct people management responsibility and focuses on hands‑on execution, analysis, and advisory support to internal stakeholders.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesExecute and support day‑to‑day import and export compliance activities across Canada, the United States, Mexico, and China, with primary focus on MexicoAnalyze, research, and assign appropriate tariff classifications (HS/HTS), ECCN (as applicable), and Country of OriginMaintain accurate and up‑to‑date product master and customs dataPrepare, review, and ensure accuracy of all import/export documentationIdentify and support duty mitigation and cost‑reduction opportunitiesPartner with Procurement and Operations to identify and manage inbound and outbound international shipmentsAct as a primary point of contact with suppliers, customs brokers, and government authorities, including CBSA, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Mexican Aduanas, and applicable Chinese customs agenciesMaintain records in accordance with regulatory, audit,



and internal compliance requirementsSupport and monitor the application of Free Trade Agreements, including USMCA/T‑MEC and other applicable agreementsReview and validate Certificates of Origin and related compliance documentation; communicate findings and corrective actionsPrepare, analyze, and distribute monthly KPI, compliance, and risk reportsDevelop, document, and maintain trade compliance procedures, manuals, and standard operating practicesSupport oversight and performance monitoring of customs brokers and third‑party service providersProvide training, guidance, and advisory support to internal stakeholders on import/export and trade compliance requirementsJob Requirements and SkillsBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field (preferred)Minimum of 5 years of experience in international trade compliance, customs supply chain management within a multi‑country or manufacturing environmentStrong hands‑on experience in tariff classification, customs valuation, and country of origin determinationLicensed Customs Broker or equivalent professional designation (preferred)Solid understanding of global trade compliance principles and risk management frameworksWorking knowledge of customs regulations in Mexico, Canada, the United States,
