CBI Home Health is looking for Direct Support Specialists to assist adults with intellectual disabilities and substance dependencies. Under the Operations Manager's guidance, you will foster client independence and comfort while maintaining detailed records. This role requires teamwork, effective communication, and a commitment to safety and dignity in care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care and medication administration
• Assist with menu planning and daily living activities
• Encourage client participation in community and family activities
• Maintain accurate records of client care and progress
• Foster skill development and independence in clients
Requirements:
• Experience with adults with disabilities or dependencies
• Valid First Aid and CPR Level C certification
• Clear Criminal Record Check and Adult Abuse Registry
• Minimum Grade Twelve education; relevant certifications preferred
• Must be available for diverse shifts including weekends
