Join our team as a Forklift Operator in a dynamic manufacturing plant. You will play a crucial role in the protected handling and storage of materials, ensuring seamless operations.
Reporting to the shift supervisor, your main duties include conducting daily equipment checks and supplying materials efficiently. You will also be responsible for following FIFO guidelines and accurately entering data into the EPICS system. Your strong attention to detail and forklift operating skills will help maintain our operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain the forklift by checking oil and mechanical condition
• Adequately supply designated areas to eliminate shortages
• Load and unload materials from temper ovens promptly
• Enter and track material in the EPICS system accurately
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of transported loads
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years' counterbalance forklift experience
• Certification in forklift operation required
• Basic English reading and writing skills
• Experience with multi-directional forklifts is advantageous
