Join the City of Greater Sudbury as a Seasonal Arena Maintenance Technician. This part time role focuses on ice maintenance, general repairs, and delivering a superb experience for arena users.

Candidates must have a Secondary School diploma and three years of experience in facility maintenance, including a solid understanding of arena equipment. Responsibilities involve maintaining ice surfaces, assisting with special events, and fulfilling janitorial tasks while operating under the supervision of the Arena Maintenanceperson Lead Hand.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support maintenance of the ice surface using resurfacer
• Maintain operational logs for heating and refrigeration systems
• Assist in set-up for special events and functions




• Perform routine janitorial tasks within the facility
• Monitor machinery and report issues to management

Requirements:
• Secondary School Diploma (Grade XII)
• Refrigeration Operator “B” Certificate or Basic Level 1
• Proven experience in building operations
• Customer service skills for effective public interaction
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle
