Lawyers are given ownership of their files while working within a team environment that values collaboration, sound judgement, and practical results.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging litigation files from intake through resolution, with ownership of strategy and executionConducting legal analysis and providing strategic advice to clientsDrafting pleadings, affidavits, legal memoranda, and settlement agreementsRepresenting clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiationsAssessing legal risk and advising on dispute resolution strategiesCollaborating with lawyers, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient file managementBuilding and maintaining strong client relationshipsQualificationsMembership in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta (or eligibility for admission)Minimum of three (3) years of post-call litigation experienceLaw degree from a recognized institutionExperience in at least one of our practice areas (e.G., Family Law, Civil Litigation, Estates Litigation, Tax Litigation, Corporate Law, Estate Planning)
