As part of the OSHP team, you will be tasked with ensuring that on-ice sessions are enjoyable and productive for participants. Collaboration with experienced hockey staff will enhance the delivery of programs tailored to skill development. Your strong instructional abilities and previous hockey experience will be vital in fostering a love for the game.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver enjoyable and safe on-ice sessions for participants
• Implement OSHP policies and procedures efficiently
• Provide error-detection feedback and instruction
• Assist in preparing and supervising fellow instructors
• Communicate insights on ice times and program effectiveness
Requirements:
• High-level hockey or skating experience
• Coaching credentials or instructional experience preferred
• Strong teaching aptitude with youth
• Skilled attitude and solid work ethic
• NCCP or Hockey Canada coaching certification valued
