Your Role in Supporting Our Members:
As a Growth Marketing Specialist, Sustainable Wealth you will work in collaboration with the Sustainable Wealth Management and Vancity Investment Management team to support the planning, execution, optimization, and performance of marketing communications, campaigns, and marketing platforms that help achieve Vancity’s business and brand objectives. You will develop compelling content, coordinate marketing initiatives, and provide guidance to both internal and external stakeholders to ensure marketing tactics are relevant, organized, and aligned with brand standards. This role is ideal for a collaborative marketing professional who combines creativity, analytical thinking, and strong project management skills to deliver exceptional marketing experiences and measurable results.
This is a Full-time, Permanent role based at Vancity head office and will report directly to the Marketing Manager, Sustainable Wealth. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on-site for events and business demands.
How You'll Make an Impact:
Managing Wealth marketing campaigns and projects from start to finish, including gathering member and market insights, developing briefs, coordinating creative asset development, defining channel strategy, and overseeing budgets, timelines, feedback, and approvals, ensuring efficient and accurate launches.
Collaborating with our marketing teams and cross-functional stakeholders to plan and execute strategies that successfully meet business objectives and advancement of our impact priorities.
Leveraging your analytical skill set to provide weekly and monthly reporting against short-term and long-term KPIs, while connecting results to opportunities for improvement.
Developing and presenting succinct post-campaign analysis on the success of campaigns and opportunities for improvement.
Using member and product insights to refine target markets, special promotions, and simplify value propositions with the objective of getting the right message to the right person, at the right time.
Enabling branches, member support, and other internal teams to tell a compelling story about our product benefits.
Managing multiple high-priority projects in a deadline and data-driven environment.
Working both independently and with the team, relying on strong influencing and presentation skills to achieve results.
Building strong cross-functional relationships and providing stakeholders marketing advice, guidance, and recommendations to maximize campaign effectiveness
WhatYou’llBring to the Team:
University Degree, preferably in Marketing or Business
3-5 years of professional experience in Marketing (preferably in the financial services sector)
Experience planning, executing, and measuring marketing campaigns across multiple channels
Strong skills in marketing analytics and the ability to assign KPIs to marketing and business goals
Story-telling and presentation skills
Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Solid skills influencing and leading team interactions to gain alignment with stakeholders
Experience working with marketing platforms, content management tools, email marketing systems, paid advertising platforms, creative teams and media agencies
Resourceful, self-starter, and proactive to finding new opportunities
Personable, collaborative relationship builder
Enthusiastic and excited about Vancity’s goals and impact
Extra Skills That Set You Apart:
Experience within financial services, wealth management, credit unions, or highly regulated industries
Knowledge of and interest in financial markets and wealth management
Knowledge of digital marketing, marketing automation, CRM systems, and campaign analytics tools
Skilled using AI tools
Knowledge of reporting tools or platforms such as PowerBI and Google Analytics

This role offers a salary range of $69,700to $90,200per annum . The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills,previousexperience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
