Recycling Collector – Whitehorse Blue Bin Recycling (WBBR)
Permanent Position | 30–40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $23.00/hour (increase after probation)
Whitehorse Blue Bin Recycling (WBBR) is seeking a reliable and hardworking Recycling Collector to join our team. This role involves residential and commercial recycling pickup.
Key Responsibilities

Collect recycling from residential and commercial clients.

Load and unload materials from the transport vehicle.

Work independently and with fellow employees while maintaining strong communication with management and clients.

Fill out all the necessary paperwork as required.

Represent WBBR professionally in the community.

Qualifications





Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.

Comfortable driving a cube van.

Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Able to work in all weather conditions, including cold weather.

Enjoys physical, outdoor work in all seasons.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Punctual, dependable, and skilled with clients.

Must be able to work in a Team with other staff or contractors.

Able to work safely, following proper lifting techniques, traffic safety rules, and company safety procedures at all times.

Good knowledge of Whitehorse geography is an asset.
