We are currently recruiting Construction Workers for upcoming work in Edmonton, AB.

Duties / Responsibilities

Assist trades with any duties they need help with

Inventory counting and management

Unloading and loading materials

Site cleanup and organization (housekeeping)

Erect and dismantle scaffolding, temporary hoarding, guardrails

Digging trenches, chipping concrete, snow removal, flagging, pour watching

Operate skid steer, zoom boon, aerial work platform (internal training provided)

Rigging

Working Conditions

44 hours per week. Most shifts start at 7:00 am but hours may vary based on site requirements.

Overtime and work on weekends as required.

Long term, steady, year-round work

Two paid 15-minute break and one ½ hour unpaid lunch break per day

Combination of inside and outside work. Appropriate dress required

Ability to work well in a team and independently

Positive attitude towards safety

Punctual and reliable

Self-motivated

Willing to learn

Manual dexterity, mechanically inclined, physically fit

Requirements

Steel toe boots required

WHMIS 2015 required (we can provide)

CSTS 2020 Fundamentals for those with less than five years experience (we can provide)

Rigging experience is considered an asset

Ability to run a skid steer, zoom boom or AWP is considered an asset

Reliable transportation to and from the job site. Most sites are accessible by public transportation

Prior concrete, carpentry or general construction experience considered an asset
