Lead comprehensive IT operations as the Director of IT Operations for our partner company based in Canada. This remote position requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and hands-on operational expertise.

As a senior IT leader, you will oversee the reliability, security, and performance of a complex technology environment. Your role encompasses change management, service delivery, and incident response, ensuring operational excellence across IT operations. Partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to enhance service quality and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Own and improve enterprise change management policies
• Lead the IT service desk and end-user support
• Manage full incident and problem management lifecycle




• Coordinate responses to critical Sev 1 and Sev 2 incidents
• Build and mentor a multidisciplinary IT operations team

Requirements:
• 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years in operations leadership
• Experience with change management and CAB leadership
• Strong knowledge of ITIL practices and incident management
• Hands-on familiarity with tools like Splunk and Datadog
• Excellent communication skills for executive reporting
