Successful Candidate Responsibilities
Working with students one-on‑one & in small groups in a classroom setting

Teacher Assistants Qualifications
Educational Assistant Certificate (desirable)

Current First Aid Certificate

Early Childhood training and experience (desirable)

Necessary Skills And Knowledge
Establish rapport and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents and staff

Work collaboratively and co‑operatively with teacher and other educational assistants in the classroom/school

Understand and carry out oral and written direction

Work independently with minimal instruction

Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills

Respect confidentiality

Practice professionalism with all Fox Creek School students, staff, administration, parents and public

Be aware of NGPS policies and administrative procedures

Hours Of Work
32.5 hours per week/6.5 hours per day

Wage Rate
$20.76/hour - $29.26/hour depending on qualifications and experience

Effective Dates
2026-2027 School Year
