The Public Works Labourer will assist the Roads Supervisor in carrying out various duties that include operating machinery and performing laborer tasks. Flexibility in working nights and weekends is necessary, along with a commitment to safety and efficiency. Applicants are required to have a valid Class G Ontario Driver's License and will need to secure a Class DZ within four months of hire. Experience in construction is a plus for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assigned labour tasks across public works projects
• Operate light and heavy equipment as directed




• Work shifts that may include nights and weekends
• Comply with verbal and written instructions
• Possess and maintain a transparent Driver’s Abstract

Requirements:
• Hold a Class G Ontario Driver’s License
• Obtain Class DZ license within four months of hire
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Previous construction experience is an asset
• Ability to perform medium to heavy labour effectively
