Educational Assistant
Location: Normandeau School

30 hours weekly

Commencing as soon as a suitable candidate is found until June 30, 2027.

The successful applicant will provide support to students in grades 2-3.

Desirable qualifications and attributes:

Educational Assistant Certificate or comparable education

Ability to build upon and facilitate positive relationships through valued attachments

Ability to support inclusive education opportunities for students in a variety of grades

Experience with Complex Special Educational Needs and Autism is considered an asset

Ability to work collaboratively as a team member

Ability to work with paraprofessionals such as speech pathologist, occupational therapists and school based learning team

NVCI or SIVA training would be considered an asset
