Educational Assistant
Location: West Park Elementary School

30 hours weekly, 2 positions

Commencing as soon as suitable candidates are found until June 30, 2027.

Temporary positions replacing a leave of absence.

We are seeking two caring, professional, and collaborative Educational Assistants to join a strong classroom team. The successful candidate will support a diverse group of students with a range of academic, social, emotional, behavioural, and language needs.

Desirable Qualifications And Skills

Educational Assistant Certificate or related training is an asset

Able to build authentic, trusting relationships with students and provide individualized academic and behavioural support

Encourages confidence, independence, and inclusion

Works closely with teachers to support learning and classroom routines

Communicates respectfully with students, staff, and families

Remains calm, flexible, and solutions-focused

Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, discretion, and teamwork

Genuinely enjoys working with children, recognizes their strengths, and contributes positively to a caring,



team-oriented school community

Comfortable supporting personal care needs including lifting and toileting as required
