The AC Mitigation Engineer position focuses on applying engineering principles to enhance pipeline integrity and prevent electrical shock risks. You'll gain hands-on experience performing modeling using specialized software and collaborating with industry experts to innovate in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform AC interference modeling using CDEGS software
• Design AC mitigation systems for pipeline safety
• Assess and analyze CP and interference survey data
• Conduct third-party reviews of reports and designs
• Prepare technical assessment and design reports
Requirements:
• Degree in electrical engineering or related field
• Experience with electromagnetic interference concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and mapping tools
• AMPP (NACE) certification preferred
• Ability to travel occasionally
