As a Social Work Officer, your role is to facilitate clinical social work services, tackle challenging social situations, and provide compassionate support. You will address issues prevalent among military families, such as frequent relocations and stressors inherent to military life. This includes potential overseas deployment as needed, requiring adaptation to diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide essential clinical intervention for service personnel
• Address and resolve compassionate situational challenges
• Offer guidance to leadership regarding social circumstances
• Investigate and document relevant compassionate cases
• Create preventive initiatives for stress and family challenges
Requirements:
• Accredited Master of Social Work degree
• Current unrestricted social work license
• Two years of relevant clinical experience
• Completion of Basic Military Officer Qualification Training
• Specialized training in cognitive therapies preferred
