In this vital role reporting to the Manager of Design, you will develop complex design concepts and oversee final layouts. Utilize your expertise in engineering design and CAD systems like Solidworks or AutoCAD to meet project objectives. Your skills will contribute directly to safety in healthcare, ensuring designs comply with manufacturing, shipping, and installation needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop engineering data for preliminary design concepts
• Prepare accurate final design layouts and documentation
• Monitor own work for adherence to drafting standards




• Assist in training new staff in drafting techniques
• Liaise with purchasing and production for design compliance

Requirements:
• Technologist Diploma with 6-8 years of related experience
• Proficient in 3D CAD systems (Solidworks) and 2D CAD (AutoCAD)
• Solid understanding of engineering design principles
• Demonstrated ability to resolve complex design problems
• Excellent communication skills in a technical environment
