As a Policy Analyst under the Director of Cabinet and Legislative Services, you will play a vital role in supporting the legislative assembly and council committees. Your responsibilities include coordinating meetings, preparing briefings, and ensuring compliance with governance standards. This position requires strong analytical skills and adherence to Métis customs and values to facilitate informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide non-partisan policy and procedural support
• Research and analyze policy issues and legislative matters
• Prepare committee documents and meeting agendas
• Track resolutions and facilitate follow-up actions
• Liaise with elected officials and stakeholders
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in relevant fields
• 2-3 years in government or legislative services
