IEM is seeking a Field Service Technician to support electrical distribution systems in Ashburn, VA. This role focuses on hands-on installation and commissioning of equipment in data centers and industrial sites.

As a Level 1, 2, or 3 technician, you will receive specialized training and engage in field service tasks. Key responsibilities include the installation of electrical components, troubleshooting circuits, and coordinating with project managers. The position requires solid communication skills and the ability to work independently while being a team player.

Key Responsibilities:
• Attend project meetings with contractors and clients
• Install and modify electrical components and subassemblies
• Conduct testing of modified assemblies




• Troubleshoot electrical circuits and networking equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance and technical support

Requirements:
• Technical degree with 8+ years in field service
• Experience in commissioning LV/MV electrical switchgear
• Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time
• Strong communication and independent work skills
