Empower Autistic individuals with CFASA as a dedicated Occupational Therapist. Play a vital role in delivering neurodiversity-affirming occupational therapy in home and community environments.
As a full time Occupational Therapist at CFASA, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing supports tailored to enhance the daily living and motor skills of Autistic individuals. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based practices, while fostering meaningful connections with families and communities. A flexible schedule from Monday to Friday allows for family-centered service, which may involve evening work to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy expertise within a multidisciplinary team
• Conduct standardized and non-standardized assessments
• Deliver evidence-informed practices in naturalistic settings
• Develop and facilitate community-based workshops
• Maintain accurate documentation and service records
Requirements:
• Registered with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Satisfactory Criminal Record and Child Intervention Checks
