Join Lookout Housing and Health Society as a Janitorial Maintenance Worker, serving in Courtenay, BC. This important role focuses on cleanliness and maintaining a safe environment for disadvantaged individuals.

This permanent, full-time position involves maintaining overall site cleanliness and proper function of facilities. You will work closely with the Site Manager, performing a variety of janitorial and maintenance tasks. Your expertise will directly assist in creating a welcoming atmosphere for all tenants and guests at the Junction.

Key Responsibilities:
• Sweep, wash, and maintain floors and surfaces
• Handle garbage removal and recycling duties
• Oversee all building equipment maintenance and repair
• Assist with minor maintenance and landscaping tasks




• Support and mentor new staff and volunteers on site

Requirements:
• Completion of minimum Grade 12 plus related experience
• Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certification required
• Strong communication and workload organization skills
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively
• Transparent Criminal Record for Vulnerable Sector
