Join the Student Services team as a Speech Language Pathologist, working full-time across various schools. Focus on improving student communication through comprehensive evaluation and tailored interventions.
This itinerant position requires a Master's in Speech/Language Pathology and eligibility for BC membership. You will support students with diverse needs and collaborate closely with School Based Teams. Your role will include conducting assessments, developing intervention programs, and providing hands-on training in AAC technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments of speech and language deficits
• Collaborate with educators to identify student needs
• Develop effective and individualized intervention programs
• Support AAC implementation for complex communication needs
• Train school personnel and parents on communication strategies
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology
• Valid BC driver’s license and access to a car
• Robust communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in educational settings preferred
• Ability to work with diverse student populations
