Advancement Services provides operational programs that support the engagement of alumni and donors. Reporting to the Advancement Data & Systems Manager, the Data Quality Clerk assist in the overall co-ordination of the Student Tracing Program and the implementation of Data Quality initiatives. The Tracing Program is an integral part of the Data Quality Program in Advancement. Our purpose is to provide vital information to support alumni engagement and fundraising at the University.
Overseeing the Student Tracing Program and coordinating tracing efforts for numerous appeals, events and subscriptions across Alumni and Development for Faculties and Departments using varied methods, such as social media, email or phone, requires creativity, strong communication skills and working relations with internal stakeholders. The Clerk will work independently with Alumni Relations, Annual Giving, Faculty Fundraisers and Alumni Officers and provide contact information to meet and support their alumni engagement and fundraising goals.
The Clerk works with confidential and sensitive information in a high paced environment; tact and positive judgment are essential qualities to this position.
Experience
This position requires a level of education, training, and experience equivalent to 3 years' recent experience working within a comparable environment,
preferably in a post-secondary or institutional setting or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Good time management skills and the ability to juggle many projects at once.
Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Advanced proficiency with computer applications (i.e. MS Office suite)
Demonstrated ability to take responsibility and accountability to ensure high quality work.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with all stakeholders
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Proven track record achieving goals on time and producing deliverables
Knowledge of FOIPPA, Records management and CASL
Experience with database management, research, and search tools
Ability to effectively train others
Interpreting and/or applying policy and procedures
Providing exemplary customer service
Specialized knowledge/education
Secondary school graduation or equivalent and some related post-secondary course work
Preference Will Be Given To Applicants With Experience With
Import-O-Matic and Raiser's Edge
Accepted business techniques to ensure quality assurance
