WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Senior Manager, Strategy & Execution drives strategic planning and program delivery for Hybrid Cloud & AIOps, serving as the critical bridge between vision and execution.This role owns development of multi-year strategic initiatives, program roadmaps, and execution plans while monitoring industry trends and competitive intelligence to maintain strategic advantage.
The successful candidate will track KPIs and milestones, proactively identify dependencies and risks, and drive resolution of complex cross-team operational challenges across product, engineering, FinOps, and governance. Key responsibilities include analyzing data to support evidence-based decisions, partnering with FinOps on portfolio economics, leading monthly business reviews, and developing executive briefings and performance dashboards.
The role requires exceptional communication skills to translate complex technical topics into clear, business-focused narratives for senior leadership. The ideal candidate brings proven strategic acumen, demonstrated execution excellence in delivering high-visibility initiatives, robust analytical rigor, and executive presence to influence senior stakeholders while balancing strategic thinking with operational execution across multiple workstreams.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Execute strategic planning initiatives and drive multi-year strategy development and refinement for Hybrid Cloud & AIOps initiatives
Manage implementation of multiple concurrent initiatives of varying complexity in a time-efficient manner; monitor and control activities according to plan
Continuously identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks; analyze, mitigate, and escalation where appropriate
Develop and execute end-to-end change management plans and execute all communications related to these initiatives
Track progress against assigned KPIs and milestones; drive resolution of complex cross-team operational challenges across product, engineering, FinOps, and governance
Collaborate on cross-functional enterprise initiatives and manage effective implementation of assigned deliverables
Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners
Analyze data to support evidence-based decisions and develop executive briefings, dashboards, and performance reports for senior leadership
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
Undergraduate degree coupled with change management experience in complex programs with high frequency of requests and multiple priorities
Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills, strong presentation skills, and ability to determine stakeholder information and communication needs
Strong organizational, project management, and time management capabilities
A solid technical foundation that allows you to understand a large, complex bank’s technology environment and engage credibly with engineering and architecture teams
Proven experience building and shaping strategy, roadmaps, or transformation plans in a large organization
Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high quality standards while handling multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
Nice-to-have:
Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large, publicly-traded corporation
Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers
Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
AI & Emerging Technology – Understanding of how to leverage AI tools and capabilities to enhance productivity and strategic outcomes
