Join the University of Ottawa as a Competency-Based Assessment Coordinator with the UGME Administration team. This role focuses on competency assessments and stakeholder collaboration for optimal student progress.
You will be responsible for overseeing all competency-based assessment operations while supporting Clerkship Directors and Hospital Coordinators. This position requires strategic planning, data management, and logistics to facilitate effective decision-making processes within the Clerkship Competence and Promotion Committee. You’ll ensure compliance with accreditation standards and train faculty and preceptors in assessment methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate competency-based assessment strategies with Clerkship Directors
• Monitor assessment data completion cycles and student progress
• Provide logistical support to the Clerkship Competence and Promotion Committee
• Develop and deliver training for preceptors and Rotation Leads
• Prepare meeting documentation and reports for informed decision-making
Requirements:
• University Degree in Administration or related field
• Three years of relevant experience in project management
• Experience with assessment platforms and data management tools
• Bilingualism in French and English, both spoken and written
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
