Take on the Seasonal Airfield Maintenance Technician role with the Corporation of the City of Timmins. Help maintain airport safety and operational integrity through diverse maintenance tasks.

As a Seasonal Airfield Maintenance Technician, you will work under the Airfield Maintenance Foreman. This role involves operating various equipment for snow and ice control and participating in safety programs to enhance team awareness. A significant aspect of the job is to maintain records and assist in emergency situations as required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Remove snow and ice from airfield surfaces
• Maintain grounds and assist in airfield services
• Keep track of maintenance records and reports




• Use chainsaws and hand tools for airport landscaping
• Participate in safety and emergency training programs

Requirements:
• Valid Class DZ Ontario Driver's Licence required
• Must secure an Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate within 30 days
• Experience with airside operations considered beneficial
• First Aid/WHMIS certifications preferred
• Clear Criminal Record Check is mandatory
