Key Responsibilities:
• Perform assessments and develop care plans for surgical patients
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety
• Assist in mobilizing patients with various needs




• Support and mentor licensed practical nurses and health care aids
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives in the surgical program

Requirements:
• Accredited nursing education program completion
• Active registration with College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Two years of neuro/Ortho/trauma surgical experience
• Experience with IV, PCA, and central lines required
