A great opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of Finance, Inventory, Data and Operations, with a high level of ownership across a complex distribution network.

This is a 6-month contract.

Our client is a Vancouver company with global operations and an impeccable reputation. They are a people-centric organization, known for their collaborative team culture.

What- The Role:
Finance – Inventory Control: Work at the center of our client’s business, create and improve processes and controls, maintain data integrity, reporting and analysis for our client’s inventory in Retail and Distribution.

The Senior Analyst, DC Inventory Control will play a pivotal role in coordinating, analyzing and reporting on the company’s Inventory Control processes and financial data. Acting as a subject matter expert on inventory this role will be responsible for driving inventory accuracy, building out impactful reporting and supporting system enhancements across the network.

Conduct deep analysis and reconcile enterprise inventory within the financial inventory system of record (RMS) and warehouse management system (WMS).





Execute financial inventory adjustments for DC locations. Control operator for inventory related SOX controls.

Act as product owner on inventory intelligence. Responsible for building inventory health reporting and steering cross functional meetings to review KPIs.

Collaborate with inventory systems, finance, DC operations and internal/external auditors to support accuracy within DC network.

Identify, test and launch the latest system enhancements that impact financial and inventory systems.

Evolves and maintains DC processes and while supporting the launch of new distribution centers

Who- the Candidate:

University degree

Business experience relating to inventory management

PowerBI and Microsoft excel expertise and ability to work efficiently with large and complex data files

Executive level reporting and presentation experience

Solid analytical and decision-making skills

Experience owning SOX controls as the control operator

Continuous Improvement Mindset

How much:
$50-55/hr + 4% vacation pay

Where:
Vancouver, hybrid schedule, 4 days onsite, 1 remote
