The University of Manchester seeks a Senior Technician to join Professor Patrick Cai’s lab at the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology. The role focuses on applying up-to-date molecular biology and biochemistry techniques to support synthetic biology and chromosome-related research.
You will prepare specialized media, perform cell culture for bacteria, yeast and plant cells, assist genomics work under supervision, and ensure biosafety and training across the group.
