Assignment:

Full-time 1.0 FTE temporary replacement teaching position

Courseload to include: Grade 9 Social Studies, Social Studies 20-2 and two sections of Social Studies 10-1

Duties will commence August 26, 2026 and will continue until January 4, 2027

Qualifications:

Experience teaching Social Studies would be considered an asset

Experience at the Junior/Senior level would be considered an asset

Experience and ability to differentiate instruction for a variety of student needs

Passion for education and commitment to student success.

Strong technology and 21st-century learning skills

Assessment literate

Strong planning and organizational skills

Strong classroom management skills





Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member

Commitment to ongoing professional growth

An understanding of High School Redesign Principles, the Collaborative Response Model, and Differentiation would be considered an asset

Ability to teach in a versatile learning environment.
