This position is eligible for telework for applicants who reside in Minnesota or in a bordering state, with supervisory approval and satisfactory performance. If you live in a state bordering Minnesota, you must live within 50 miles or less from the primary work location to be eligible for telework. This position will require systems design, data analysis, rule and statute development, rates establishment, legal compliance, and the full range of activities related to a fee-for-service and capitation payment program.
Minimum Qualifications Three years of professional experience working with Health Care Programs, health insurance, health care billing and claiming, or health care rate development demonstrating the following:
Working knowledge of health care funding, payment or service delivery;
Writing data queries, analyze and interpret data, measure performance and distill the data result for department use;
Working knowledge of data systems used to support rate development
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, math or related field may substitute for one year of professional experience.




Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of health care and standards of practice.
Knowledge of health care financing and payment.
Experience implementing health care rates within a data system
Experience in interpreting and developing rule and statute, policy documents, legal compliance, and the full range of activities related to a fee-for-service and capitation payment program.
Experience with or knowledge of continuous improvement efforts
Variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures.
