As a Full Time Nurse Practitioner, you will work within our Withdrawal Management and Treatment Services Team to provide comprehensive care to individuals facing addiction and mental health issues. Your role will be key in assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and enhancing care transitions back to the community. This position emphasizes collaboration with various health partners for optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete mental health and physical health assessments
• Manage and prescribe medications for withdrawal treatment
• Conduct medical intakes and risk assessments
• Collaborate with hospitals and pharmacies
• Contribute to program development and best practices
Requirements:
• NP (Extended Class) with CNO registration
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Robust clinical decision-making and assessment skills
• Current certification in BCLS/CPR
• Experience in trauma-informed care is an asset
