McElhanney is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer for our Northwest BC team. This dynamic role blends fieldwork and project management for sustainable civil infrastructure solutions.
This chance allows you to capitalize on your local experience in geotechnical engineering. You'll drive field investigations and contribute to projects like roads and wastewater systems. A core part of the role is mentoring junior staff while managing budgets and client relations to ensure success across assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and analyze geotechnical investigations in the field
• Prepare and manage project estimates and proposals
• Foster relationships and contribute to business development
• Ensure effective project coordination and budgeting
• Mentor and guide junior engineers for skill development
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering
• 8-12 years of progressive geotechnical experience
• Strong grasp of infrastructure design principles
• Registered as P.Eng. or eligible in BC
• Exceptional communication and project management skills
