Role Overview
Job Title: Servicing Advisor
Reports To: Vice President of Operations
Position Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week), In-Person
Job Responsibilities
Act as a trusted point of contact for an established book of clients, providing proactive, responsive, and professional ongoing service
Meet with and support the ongoing servicing and retention of existing clients to help them meet their financial needs, including but not limited to:
Always work in the best interest of clients and provide recommendations aligned with their financial goals, risk tolerance, and stage of life
Respond to client communications in a timely and professional manner, preferably within 24 hours
Use financial planning as the foundation of client advice, balancing current needs and long‑term goals while helping clients protect themselves and their families from financial risk
Manage client relationships through proactive, ongoing, and regular contact and communication
Lead annual, semi‑annual, and quarterly client review meetings
Support Group Retirement Savings (GRS) enrolments and ongoing member service
Coordinate thoughtful client touchpoints, including delivery of group gifts when required
Meet with clients virtually, or at the C2 office
Complete insurance applications in accordance with company guidelines and procedures
Provide comprehensive financial planning and client service, including meeting preparation, portfolio changes and reviews, information gathering, implementation of recommendations, account maintenance, and reporting
Follow up with investment and insurance carriers to ensure requests and applications are processed quickly and accurately
Identify opportunities to improve client service and internal procedures, and assist with reviewing, evaluating, and implementing new processes
Monitor clients' investment portfolios and ensure investment recommendations and transactions comply with company and industry requirements and remain appropriate for each client's goals, risk tolerance, age, and stage of life
Prepare Progress and Evolution Report materials and other client meeting documentation
Maintain ongoing professional education so investment, insurance, and financial planning advice remains accurate and current
Job Requirements
Post‑secondary education in a related field or discipline, such as Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or Financial Planning
CFP designation in good standing is required
Investment credentials and applicable registration or licensing are required, such as completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC); LLQP licensing and additional investment designations are assets
Minimum three years of experience in financial planning, investment advisory, or client relationship servicing
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized and able to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong client service focus with a relationship‑first approach
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Quick learner who is open to learning new things
Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience with a client relationship management (CRM) system is preferred
